- Tinned Tomatoes 400g
- Olive or Vegetable Oil
- Finely chop one onion, one clove of garlic, and one celery stick.
- Gently fry them in a small amount of oil for a few minutes or until softened but not brown.
- Add the tomatoes and season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper. Simmer this for about 15 minutes. Simmer for another minute and it’s done. If you’re not using it straight away, let it cool and store in the fridge.
