Grim Reaper Face Paint Step-by-Step

Grim Reaper face paint

Creating a Halloween costume doesn’t have to break the bank, we have put together a step by step guide on how to create a grim reaper face painting.

The Grim Reaper is a popular Halloween costume because of his scary character. This costume and face paint is simple and very effective.

Step 1.

Using the white face paint, paint the whole face white and try to avoid getting paint in the eyes by keeping them closed whilst covering. To get a consistent coverage, you may need to apply twice.

Step 2.

Adding detail to the Grim Reaper is the fun part. Give the eyes black circles and add black face paint around the nose making it look skeletal.

The lips should first be painted fully then add lines across the lips and a little either side of the lips. Give definition by shading cheeks and forehead using the grey paint and applying with a sponge.

Step 3.

To complete the look, add a scythe from Poundland. We folded a large, black table cloth to make the Grim Reaper’s outfit and you can add a belt to keep it together.
