FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern your membership of the Brands you Love for Less Rewards scheme (“Rewards Scheme”) and the use of your Rewards points. They also set out the Terms of the contract between Poundshop.com ("us"/"we") and yourself ("you"/"your").
Please read them carefully and keep hold of a copy for future reference.
By participating in the Rewards Scheme, members will be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
You must be 16 years of age or over to become a member.
No corporate or business use will be accepted for the membership of the Rewards Scheme.
2. Registration
Your Rewards points membership is not transferable once activated and can only be used by the member who is named and registered on that account. Members are only entitled to one Rewards Scheme account each. Poundshop.com reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.
Activate and register your account here with your email address to receive your benefits and offers. Please bear in mind that it is your responsibility to ensure that all your personal details are kept up to date on your account. Poundshop.com will not be responsible for any lost, delayed or undeliverable communications if you do not do so. You must also be logged into your account when completing an order to earn Rewards points. Points cannot be re-allocated retrospectively for any orders placed prior to having registered, or if signed in as a guest at checkout.
3. Termination
You can terminate your Rewards Scheme membership at any time at Poundshop.com within “My Account” or by calling 0121 647 2569 .
Please note that we can also terminate your Rewards Scheme membership:
- (i) immediately, without notice, if at any time, you are, or we reasonably suspect you may be acting fraudulently or in breach of these Terms and Conditions; and
- (ii) at any time, by providing you with at least 14 days’ written notice of termination (including via email and/or an announcement on the Poundshop website).
Upon termination by you, or pursuant to paragraph 3(i) above, any and all points accrued will be lost.
If we terminate your Rewards Scheme membership pursuant to paragraph 3(ii) above, upon the date of termination, remaining points in your account may, at our absolute discretion, be converted into a voucher/s for you to spend online at Poundshop.com (in accordance with Poundshop’s rewards points value system and subject to additional terms and conditions, a link to the full terms and conditions will be provided with the voucher).
If your Rewards Scheme membership has been inactive for 6 months we will review it and in our discretion may choose to suspend your account.
4. Your Information
Any Personal Information or Data obtained by us in connection with the Rewards Scheme will only be used in accordance with data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
By joining the Rewards Scheme, you agree to receive email communication from us regarding special offers, new in products, other bonus offers for this Rewards Scheme and any changes to and/or termination of the Rewards Scheme.
5. Credit/Refunds
Where a credit/refund is given against a returned product, Poundshop.com reserves the right to deduct the respective number of Rewards points from your account relevant to the current Rewards Scheme rules.
In the event that you have been provided with a refund as a goodwill gesture, then there will be no deduction of Rewards points.
6. Rewards Points Value
Rewards points earned via this Rewards Scheme do not have a cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash at checkout.
Rewards points have to be spent by acquiring a discount voucher earned from previous orders or actions so that you can redeem them against a future order.
7. The Expiry of Rewards Points
Subject to any earlier termination pursuant to paragraph 3 of these Terms and Conditions, Rewards Scheme points accrued from orders will remain active and useable on your account for a rolling period of 6 months from your last order. After this 6-month period, the Rewards Scheme points balance will return to zero.
Members who continue to participate in the Rewards Scheme will be deemed to have accepted that all Rewards points lost due to inactivity cannot be recovered.
8. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect or reduce your statutory rights.
9. Making changes to the Brands you Love for Less Rewards scheme
We can make changes to the eligibility requirements, the benefits and the Terms and Conditions of this Rewards Scheme at any time if we believe the change is to your advantage or, in our reasonable discretion, is required for the continuing administration of the Rewards Scheme or in the event of circumstances outside our reasonable control. We also reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons.
Notices of amendment to or termination of the Rewards Scheme and/or the Terms and Conditions will be made via an announcement on Poundshop.com and/or via email to the email address registered with the Rewards Scheme, either of which shall constitute written notice of such change/termination to you.
Members who continue to participate in the Rewards Scheme following any change to the Terms and Conditions will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms and Conditions.
If any provision, or part provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes concerning the Rewards Scheme and/or these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
