Virasorb Cold Sore Cream, 2g
Virasorb Cold Sore Cream is a topical treatment designed to help alleviate the symptoms of cold sores. It contains Aciclovir 5% w/w which is an antiviral medication that works by slowing down the growth and spread of the virus. This cream comes in a convenient 2g tube, making it easy to apply directly to the affected area. The formulation is designed to be gentle on the skin, providing relief from discomfort while promoting the healing of the cold sore.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Each 1g of cream contains 50mg Aciclovir. Also contains: glyceryl monostearate, dimeticone, cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, propylene glycol, purified water.
Instructions For Use
Apply it to the skin, on the lips and face only. Adults, the elderly and children: Spread a thin layer of cream over the sore and surrounding area as soon as the tingling starts. Apply the cream 5 times a day for 5 days, If the sore has not healed, continue treatment for up to another 5 days. If symptoms still persist, consult your doctor.
Warning
Do not use in the eyes or on the genitals. For external use only. See leaflet for further precautions. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate.
