151 Professional Frame Sealant, 310ml

151 Pro Window & Door Sealant is ideal for all UPVC, wood and metal door and window frames. It is suitable for internal use only. It is based on its high performance acrylic polymer and will provide a long lasting permanently flexible seal. Fast drying and permanent. 

Ingredients

Contains a mixture of : 5-chloro-2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [EC no 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [EC no 220239-6].

Directions For Use

• All surface areas must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease.
• Remove nozzle and cut the tip of the cartridge, ensuring that the tread is not damaged.
• Replace the nozzle and cut to give an opening that will give the size if bead required. Cut at 45° angle to achieve a smooth finish. The bead size should be slightly larger than the gap to be filled.
• Wide or deep gaps should be packed before application of the sealant.
• Using a standard cartridge gun, apply the filler by pressing the plunger. Once applied the filler can be smoothed off using a wetted finger or spatula within 15 minutes of application. The filler should be cured in approximately 1 hour, depending upon conditions.
• The filler is not meant to be sanded and can be painted once fully cured.
• Excess filler can be removed with a damp cloth. Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
• Allow 48 hours for a full cure. In damp, cold or humid conditions the curing time will be significantly extended.
