This pretty dwarf sweet pea has a compact, bushy habit making it ideal for growing in patio containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. Sweet Pea 'Bijou Mixture' produces large, deeply fragrant flowers, in a cherry mix of colours with up to five blooms per stem.

Sowing Information:
Sow seeds indoors from February to April. Soak seeds for 24hrs in water to help soften the shell then, plant one seed at a time into a tray of good compost. Water lightly and cover with a propagator lid. Germination can take up to 3 weeks. When seedlings are large, transplant into larger 7cm pots and grow in cooler conditions.
In May when all risk of frost has gone, transplant outdoors where the plants are to flower, acclimatise by placing outside during the day for 1 week. Plants will begin to bloom from June to September.
Top Tips:
If planting in a basket or container, ensure plants are positioned around the edge so that blooms may trail. Leave space for plants to spread (up to 50cm)
