Instructions For Use

Sow Indoors

Sow three seeds 1cm deep into 7.5cm pots of good-quality compost and lightly cover. Keep the water well warm and sunny, and cover it with a plastic bag to speed up germination. Once seedlings emerge, remove the bag and grow on a cool windowsill or cold frame over the frosty period. Pinch out stems once there are two sets of leaves to promote bushy growth.

Hardening Off

Before moving plants outside, make sure the risk of frost has passed. To acclimatise, place the plants outdoors during the day and bring them indoors at night. Repeat this process for seven days, after which the plants can remain outdoors.

Sow Outdoors

Once the risk of frost has passed, sow seeds directly where they will flower, either in beds, borders, or containers of good-quality compost.

For climbing plants, seeds should be sown 1cm deep and 20cm apart at the base of a climbing frame or trellis.

Train plants onto the climbing frame using twine.

For hanging baskets and containers, sow or plant around the edge to encourage cascading blooms.

Deadheads should be removed regularly, and seed pods should be removed to prolong the flowering period.

Directions For Use

Soak seeds for 24 hours in tepid water before sowing for best results.
